Fred The Godson - Talkin' bout Money / Monique's Room

One of the better NEW rappers out of NY in recent years, and the radio overlooking this nigga. People on (Youtube & WSHH comments) be judging Fred The Godson on his looks and visual appeal.. but go by the audio and lyrical content, because judging a rapper by his looks his homo. Biggie wasn't no GQ model, and he is remembered as a rap legend. Fred's mixtape "City Of God" has been out a minute.... and he been dropping videos for some of the tracks. Everything has been heat in my opinion. Doubled up the videos above, and linked the mixtape below.

@CurrenSy_Spitta @Wale
Just in time for your #fourtwenty playlist. Months ago, I saw the studio session video (below) for this track when Wale popped up on Curren$y at the studio, and forgot about it. The finished work is what I would expect from this duo, sneaker, car and weed talk, fly nigga shit, can't deny it, it works. Production is sick, I like that classy shit.
2Pistols (feat 2Chainz) - I Don't Care

@2Pistols @2Chainz
2 Pistols dropped his latest mixtape last November, and this track was sleeping on it. He got 2 Chainz to spit a verse on the remix. People might think of 2P as a one-hit wonder back in the day with "She Got It", but he had other tracks that mostly females was listening too. The Mr. P mixtape has some dope boy music that makes you want to get your hustle on, I skip through some songs though but only a few. This remix of "I Don't Care" might pop, and get the Tampa Bay native some more national shine. Video above is the original version, I added it cuz, I think the female is sexy... and it was a good look.
Original Version above in the VIDEO • Remix with 2Chainz below in AUDIO

El Padrino - Duffles

People think reggae and soca, from the islands. We got rap talent too. Some rappers talk about slangin nicks and dimes. Most Bahamians talk Duffles, when they talk about shit. Either its shipping out to Miami, or moving it further down the island chain. I don't know anyone that hasn't had a family member not affected by tryna make some paper off of it.
Everyone has heard of Dudus in Jamaica... who knows about Ninety from Bahamas? I aint tryna brag on who had a bigger drug ring. But sometimes you get tired of Jamaica representin the entire West Indies. No hate much love for Yard. But look what happened when NY was the only thing you heard of in rap, then the West Coast and the South spoke up. It's time for Bahamian stories (through music) to be heard. If people love the drug stories, as they do in rap and movies like Blow, Scarface, etc then let us tell em.
How many rappers have mentioned Bahamas, in their lyrics? Too many to fuckin count... and I tried at one time. How many videos showed us running shit into Miami? Big shit happens in this lil country... (read more here)

2Chainz might hold the top spot for Trap Rap right now (tied with Ross). Mixtape is solid motivation, get that money, stunt on niggas music. All tracks are bangin, but you gonna wanna skip Kreyshawns verse on Monster. If Tity Boi drops a version of Murder, without that bytch on it, that I can replace on my itunes we will be good.
Of course the line "Shawty got a tan like she come from the Bahamas" had my head bumpin, on Turn up. Gotta respect my home turf.
