Jay-Z: Hip-Hop's Master-Mason? Documentary (Full Movie)

The rumors of Hova being a Free Mason and/or a part of some Illuminati has been circling for awhile now.   An 80-minute documentary has been released showing some insight into the rumors often spoken about Jay-Z. This is a must watch for me, and I hope it provokes discussions on what really happens inside the music industry.

Edit - Camel got the video pulled. Looking for an alternate site. Hopefully megavideo.

Hurricane Season - Full Movie

| Posted in | Posted on 12/14/2009

The movie "Hurricane Season" is based off of a true story. A year after Hurricane Katrina, Al Collins, a high school basketball coach in Marrero, Louisiana, assembles a team of players who had previously attended five different schools before the disaster and leads them on the path to the state championships. Starring Forest Whitaker, Isaiah Washington, Taraji Henson (lawd she fine), Bow Wow, and Lil Wayne in his first "real" acting role. Previously Wayne acted in Big Boi's golfing movie "Who's Your Caddy", as himself rapping (which isn't really acting) and other minor roles.

This is the first leaked footage of "Hurricane Season".

Other blogs have this leaked footage. But Imma go all out. Click the megavideo file below to watch the entire movie. Megavideo only allows 72mins of streaming, so you need to watch it in 2 sessions.

Kimbo Slice vs Houston Alexander [almost Full Fight]

I'm a huge fan of Kimbo Slice. He's reppin Bahamas and Florida, like myself. Even though he's a streetfighter it has been proven in MMA he can be beaten, on several occasions. Now that some (most?) of his online fans have turned their back on him after his losses, I still keep watching and hoping he puts a hurting on people.

(1st round is not shown, action was boring says the guy who uploaded the vid)

Snitches get stitches OR was it riches?

For the snitches out there this seems like a good move ( I don't condone that behavior ). Snitch on your boss at work and get paid, if they use pirated software.

Quote - "... rat him/her out to the Business Software Alliance for software piracy violations. Until the end of the year, tipsters can receive about $32,000 — double the standard payout, under the latest reincarnation of the so-called “Nail your boss” campaign. The caveat is that this high-priced program is limited to the London area...."

.... Sorry snitches who got excited, that live stateside or in the islands... NO MONEY FOR YOU!

But you informers still can enjoy a good snitch movie 'Armored'
The trailer of this movie is making my blood boil. This poor dude needs money to save his house and family. His friends set out to steal some money, put him on to the heist. Then he gets all soft and betrays them mid-crime because they shoot a cop. I hope he dies at the end of this one... I hope Morpheus (Lawrence Fishburne) or whomever he's playing in this flick kicks his ass on some slow motion Matrix shit.

Diggy – The First Flight Mixtape... (Sorry JoJo)

| Posted in , | Posted on 12/03/2009

So the Simmons sisters are doing their thing, have their own show and shoe line. The younger bro Russell, is just being a kid enjoying life. Diggy out of the blue (to me, I don't follow the show, and he is not in my radar elsewhere) surprised me and dropped a mixtape. Lil dude just murked his big bros dream... Jojo will now be stuck washing cars and living in Run's poolhouse for the next few years. Does JoJo even have a backup plan?

Diggy's  tape "The First Flight" is going straight on my sons mp3 player. It reminds me of a mixture of a Kid Cudi / Kanye / Wiz Khalifa album to me. If you have kids that need some clean music download it. (I haven't heard any cussin on it, but I may be oblivious to it). Honestly, he may make it in the industry... JoJo = NoGo

Craigslist "Escorts", D-Bois, Hustlers and Sneakerheads rejoice...

Ever wanted to get paid for your services. Like example, on Menace 2 Society, when that crackhead offered homie 2 cheeseburgers and went on to offer the unimaginable and he ended up dead. Or when I'm trying to sell a pair of sneakers or some vixen on Craiglist is asking for 100 roses...

You know when you need that paper, but no paper is around (Paper = Cash Money). The inventor of Twitter has created a way to get paid easily. Everyone and their mama has a cell phone right? So they created a "New Mobile Payment System"

Quote - "Square will give anybody the ability to accept payment cards without having to go through a costly credit card processing service. Instead, Square will give its users the ability to use their mobile phones, laptops or desktop computers to accept payment cards and swipe them with the help of a small dongle that will plug into the computer's or phone's audio jack."

You heard that? Street corner dudes gon' be accepting Visa over their tracphones now. They need an episode 6 of The Wire for this shit.

Quote - "According to the information on Square's website, users won't have to sign any contracts and there won't be any monthly fees or hidden costs. Square is currently only working with a select group of companies but plans to expand widely in 2010. In its current iteration, Square works on the iPhone and iPod touch. It's not clear how much the dongle will cost, but chances are that it will be cheap....

....Thanks to Square, every stand at a local farmers' market and every small coffee cart or hot dog vendor on the street will soon be able to accept credit cards without having to go through one of the major credit card processing services."

Farmers market my ass! You know this gonna be big.... Seems Twitter owners found how to make some money this time around.

Ninja Assassin...

Most people are looking forward to Thanksgiving to see family and friends, eat, football and Black Friday shopping. All of that is well, but this year if you are into Karate / Kung-Fu / Ninja flicks like Kalik is, then you have to stop and take 2 hours and go see Ninja Assassin.

Growing up in the Bahamas, when I was a kid on Nassau we only had movie theatre, and no it didn't have 20 screens like the AMC and Muvico's stateside. It literally only had 1 screen. Big ups to Shirley Street Theatre and my friends aunt that would get us in free, and my uncle who owned a bar across the street that would give us sodas and chips to sneak in. Anyways, sometimes (often) they would get in Kung Fu movies so I grew up watching these and loving em. My favorite was a Scorpion style classic, and my boss at work "Mow" actually hooked me up and gave it to me last year.

Also spent many days watching Bruce Lee flicks by Duff's (Mr Steez - Bahamian rapper) house when I was a kid... Man I remember that Bruce Lee vs Kareem Abdul-Jabbar joint... classic!

This year Ninja Assassin is being released stateside, it is an American made movie, not from the far east. Not sure on the plot but really I don't care. Some dude disobeys/dishonors his clan, and the clan is out to kill him and he's a one man army (ninja) taking them on. Simple, but hey it works.

Must see movie, this week...

Lil Wayne - The Carter Documentary (Full Movie)

To watch: 1. Press Red > Play button in center of screen
2. Press Green > Play button in center of screen (if this pops up)

QD3's The Carter Documentary has been bootlegged. As a Lil Wayne fan, should I still go out and buy this? Not sure, even Wayne at the end of the doc being filmed didn't want it released becuase the "evidence" in the video of havinbg drugs and guns on the tour bus hurt his NY trial. Which ultimately lead to him pleading guilty and getting a 1 year bid. BUT on the other hand QDR worked hard and they should (as everyone should) get the fair money they deserve for making a quality piece of work. I will do what I have to do, it's up to you if you still buy it or not.

Roll up some kush, get ya drank, and watch the movie!

Edit - Megaupload only allowed 72mins of streaming, but you can download if you have a premium Megaupload account.

2nd Edit - I never saw a gun on the tour bus, either that scene was cut or it was a rumor. Great documentary.

The A-Team...

| Posted in , | Posted on 11/19/2009

By now everyone who follows MMA knows Quinton "Rampage" Jackson will be playing B.A. Baracus. Ramage and Dana White the owner of UFC got into some heated disputes, which ultimately ended up with Rampage leaving UFC to pursue the "lead" role for the new A-Team movie. The movie is filming now...

On another note I am happy he got the role. We need another Black Action Hero, with Wesley Snipes out of the way and doing straight to DVD movies after his tax evasion stuff. My hopes were on Michael Jae White (Spawn, Batman, Black Dynamite). With the way Black Dynamite was released and handled I don't think that will be his major break into the Action Jackson mold set by Carl Weathers (who also played Apollo in Rocky, Predator and other classic films) and Mr. T (also in Rocky and the original B.A. Baracus)

Rampage I hope this furthers your career... Good luck bruh!

Directed by Joe Carnahan (Smokin' Aces), with (L-R) Bradley Cooper (The Hangover) as Face, former UFC champion Quentin ''Rampage'' Jackson as B.A., Sharlto Copley (District 9) as Murdock and Liam Neeson as Hannibal.

Knowing is 1/2 the Battle!

Every 4pm afterschool in the 80's, during the Regan Era. When USA was Good, and Russia was Evil, and during the "Say No To Drugs", us kids could enjoy violence on TV...

If you lived in the Islands like me, and watched it all fuzzy on Antenna (we didn't have satellite), you know that feeling you got when the theme song started...

Look at that picture below.

What ’80s TV cartoon lover wouldn’t want that set as he (or she, I suppose) ages sadly into nerdy middle age?

It’s everything that was good and right about after-school television during the Reagan era. It was good battling evil with weapons that never hit anybody and exploding vehicles that always ejected their passengers before they were harmed. Ahhh action, violence ... but hey nobody will die. < edit: I read the  GI Joe comic books and people were dieing in that..... oh boy! >

The G.I. Joe Complete Series DVD Set from Shout Factory hits stores on Nov. 11, though it’s available via pre-order online now. For just $145, you get 17 DVDs including all 95 episodes of the TV series. Special features include eight new retrospective featurettes, G.I. Joe’s original 1963 Toy Fair presentation, the “Knowing Is Half the Battle” PSAs, a printable episode script and a G.I. Joe dog-tag-style flash drive.

To top it off this won't leave you disappointed like the live action movie did (I fell asleep watching it), I will watch the DVD again to see if I missed anything.
