#JetLife - Curren$y has been in heavy rotation for me for years. Just this morning my girls kid, who is only twelve asked me about him, so Im guessing him and my son (also twelve) be bumping my itunes. Either the youths are catching on to this non-radio shit, or he crossing over into mainstream. Either way it's a good look that at least in my house he gets appreciated.

My favorite MMG rapper besides Rozay, just cuz he don't give a fuck. Gunplay.. and real talk Meek and  Wale nice too. But been when Im riding around Flawda... MMG's most underrated artist Stalley. They need to sign more people like this and give niggaz like Omarion the boot. I mean wtf is Omarion doing on the label anyway?!? I'm Sorry! Never expected to connect with this dude Riff Raff.. this shit right here tho. It made me go back thru all his crazy Swag mixtapes to see what else gems he had hidden. I really thought he was a gimmick. Maybe he still is... its not really a lyrical masterpiece. But there are few rappers that are these days, Star power is on being unique, and Riff Raff is.

Just heard this banger on Tricks - Dick and Dynamite (yeah thats the mixtape name) and this the only song I would play twice off that Trick Daddy mixtape. Young AJ is from Tampa, but its weird I never heard this bumpin on 94.1 or 95.7 in Tampa. Lupe Fiasco borrowed the CL Smooth - "Reminisce Over You" by Pete Rock beat and laced it with anti-establishment lyrics, targeting the USA power structure. Lupe been going in on this angle for awhile, and I never really take a listen, NOT because he aint spittin knowledge, but he just never grabbed me into his whole style. I know my brother and other "kicking knowledge" type friends no name-calling, gonna like this though. More power to them (no diss)... I really need a new Dead Prez album though (Or did I miss one after the Stic One - Back on my regimen, hit the gym, album), Them niggas get me motivated to change.
